This class starts with an introduction to our lighting equipment and creation of a commercial lighting setup to suit subject, theme and mood board.
This will be done during the workshop and not beforehand, so all students can benefit from seeing the lighting setup being created, and any obstacles that arise in the process.
We will be exploring key-topics such as art direction, production, and lighting amongst many.
We will then start the photoshoot of our model, who will be styled by a professional team of makeup artist and hair stylist.
and we will cover topics such as model direction, posing.
All attendees have their time shooting the model individually. You will be able to free-shoot or follow my guidance.
After a lunch break, we will prepare for SHOOT 2 by changing the lighting into a more creative setup and photograph a different makeup/hair look for image variety.
At the end of the shoot, we sit down for a portfolio review.
You will be asked to bring your portfolio along, if you wish, and have it reviewed by me.
We encourage students to take part by bringing their own portfolios (either printed or digital on iPads or website links) and by giving their feedback on other's work.
Following portfolio review is a time for questions. I will be available to answer all of your questions related to beauty and fashion photography.
What did previous attendees say? Have a look at the testimonials page to see what past students say about this class.
